Our group enjoys a social calendar filled with exciting events and activities hand picked and fully organised throughout the year. Tom Social is welcoming of gay singles and couples of all ages and backgrounds. We are perfect for guys new to Brisbane, those simply looking to expand their friendship circles or anyone who wants to enjoy the benefits of exclusively organised events.

CLUB HISTORY
Tom Social was established as a social club where gay guys can meet face to face in a friendly and welcoming environment. Our club is for guys who are interested in spicing up their social calendar with activities and events. Our members must abide by the Tom Social Members’ Code at all times so that we can maintain our friendly, warm and welcoming experience for all members and guests.

COST
Like other sports clubs and work social groups, there are administration fees applicable to cover costs associated with running the club such as website maintenance and other costs. At Tom Social we are pleased to be able to offer our members the following:
- 12 months membership for $24 ($2 per month!)
- Access to free & pre-organised events
- Discounted ticket prices to group events and getaways
Tom Social is a Brisbane-based social group for gay or bi-sexual men. We carefully choose a variety of events and experiences for our members throughout the year. From after movies and hiking through to themed parties, dinners and even trips away – we have a special social calendar on offer for members to enjoy.
All men who identify as gay or bisexual are welcome to join Tom Social.
The cost of membership is only $24 for 12 months – that works out to be just $2 per month.
Tom Social is a fully organised social group, offering exciting events and adventures each month. The members’ fee covers administration, event organising costs and nibblies at select events. It also covers additional behind the scenes items like website costs, marketing and advertising of the group and incidentals.
Yes. If you don’t think Tom Social is for you or you are moving away, you can cancel your membership at any time. There’s a cancellation button on your member’s account page where you can leave the group at anytime.
Not at all. In fact, our events and activities are designed to offer an alternative to the typical Brisbane gay scene. We encourage old fashioned friendships through real conversation and spending time with each other in person.
Absolutely. The Tom Social Business Network program is all about offering a mutually beneficial platform for our members and businesses who can offer exciting events or activities at discounted group rates.
Most Tom Social events and activities will require you to book online through our website as numbers will often be limited. Payment must be made in full through our website prior to each event to ensure we meet group booking criteria and have catering suitably booked.
Yes. Tom Social has a Members’ Code which all members need to abide by. These rules are designed to ensure everyone has a good time and no one feels left out or uncomfortable. Click here to read the Members’Code.
Depending on the event, you may be able to bring along potential members but it is best to check with the event organiser beforehand.
Our members vary in age, with the majority of members aged between 25 and 45.
