Join us for our first Spring hike on the White Rock trail at Ipswich on Sunday, September 15.
This is a moderate walk through eucalypt forest, with some rock scrambling sections, cliff-edge lookouts and limited signage. The wildlife is abundant and the scenery beautiful with large rocks and caves to explore.
We will be doing the 6.5km White Rock Trail which takes about 2 hours to complete.
Make sure you bring a water bottle, sunscreen, hat and comfortable hiking clothing (gym wear is fine).
This is a great local hike, only 35 minutes from Brisbane.
Meet us at the Paperbark Flats picnic area in Redbank Plains where the group will set off at 9am.
Carpoolers should meet at the Greenslopes Bus Station, Barnsdale Place, Greenslopes to depart at 8am.
This is fifth hike for the Hike 100 challenge.
