Maleny Mountain Escape

Tom Social is off to the stunning Sunshine Coast Hinterland for this year’s group getaway!

Overlooking the glorious Glasshouse Mountains, we’re staying in the picturesque town of Maleny for two nights at the end of July.

We have plenty of activities planned including a traditional welcome party, hiking in the nearby national parks, a trip to the local dairy farm, a themed dinner party, exploring the famous birdworld and botanic garden and many more surprises to be announced.

11am – Rainforest walk (easy) and optional lunch at Mary Cairncross Reserve
Maleny & Montville town centre exploration
3pm – Check-in and set up
Afternoon drinks on the Tom Social private deck
Official weekend welcome party and activities
7.30pm – Two-course restaurant dinner overlooking Glasshouse Mountains (included)

Saturday

Group breakfast (included)
Maleny Botanic Gardens and Bird World – private tour with professional photos included
Maleny township exploration – chocolate factory, Maleny Cheese, winery, shopping
Maleny Dairy – behind the scenes private farm tour
One Tree HIll – private group photography
Gardner Falls walk
7pm Christmas in July two-course dinner party at local restaurant (included)
Late night board games

Sunday

Group breakfast (included)
Kondalilla Falls – waterfall hike
Excursion to Kenilworth township – home of the 1kg doughnut and Kenilworth Cheeses
Travel back to Brisbane via scenic inland route after lunch

Accommodation

• We are staying at Tranquil Park, a 5 minute drive to Maleny town centre
• The venue has basic apartment/motel room style accommodation and overlooks the Glasshouse Mountains. King, Queen and single beds (no bunks) are on offer.
• The venue has its own restaurant and Irish pub on-site with barista-made coffee at breakfast
• We are reserving king and queen beds for couples first – but will open up to individuals as an optional upgrade closer to the event.
• Room allocations will be finalised closer to the event, although you can make requests when purchasing your ticket.

Cost

• $249 per person (includes single bed in shared accommodation, activities and meals). Upgrade options to larger bed or own room available soon (please indicate your interest when booking). 

• Couples from $488 to $590 (bedding options include share rooms, private bedroom and private apartments).

    • Queen bed in own bedroom – $549 (2 people, activities and meals)
    • King bed in own studio apartment – $590 (2 people, activities and meals)

How to book

To secure your spot on the trip, purchase a ticket with a deposit and then the remaining amount will be due by bank transfer by July 18. Please await your invoice which will be sent by email for further instructions.
